i like this a lot.....ok,so it's limited in the amount of efects it has but that makes it all the more fun to push it to it's limits, and means you've got to be more creative to make something original looking.
it's as easy as pi...uh...pie to use. As entry level into the vj game, I think it's excellent....easy to start with and add to later with more complex programs and/or a video mixer....a good tool for your 'workshop'..
for me bering a student of video/art in the 80's I wish i has something like this (comparable equipment then would have been in the $10,000s) and coming from a vintage where vjing meant cross fading between 2 clunky vhs videos, this is a god send...
i guess some of the visuals/effects do have a cheezy 80's early 'Severed Heads'* feel but for me that's perfect and wouldn't want it any other way.
all in all....nice hardware, good software, good price, good entry level, works out of the box, fun.

This thing is the tits... especially considering the price. I've purchases and played with well more expensive hardware gear that could do half what this does or as easily.
