I bought the mixer...and saw the light at a later date...seeing that I am a newbie DJ...I just had to get all the gear...the light is not the brightest..but the light comes with a replacement...and by the looks of things you can change it to a higher wattage.

For the money, this works. The goose neck is nice and stiff so it doesn't fall and the light is adequate for mixing desk use.

I compared the price of this lamp with other lamps and this was consistently cheaper. Numark is a solid company so I expect a decent product for the price. It would be great if it had a switch so I can turn it off and on, but no such luck. Regardless, when you consider the price and the fact that it lights up, it seems fine. I don't use my mixer a lot so my lamp isn't getting heavy use but it seems to stay in place and seems sturdy with light use. I have heard complaints that these have a hard time staying in the shape you place them, but my lamp has had no problems thus far.

Very flimbsy, can't get it to hold into place, and light is too dim. Honestly, it's junk.
