At first I wanted to give this a 3 star because when I first got the mixer, one of the channels didnt work. However, amazon return the favor with their quality customer service. I had the first order returned and Amazon sent me back a new mixer including the money I spent to have it mailed. I recommend any DJ to buy their mixer from amazon. Their great customer care will have me coming back to buy from them again. To top it off, the Numark X9 is an awsome mixer!! I recommend this mixer to any DJ who enjoy scratching and mixing at the same time. The effects are cool, it just takes some time to get use to. Eventually the more you practice with the mixer, the more comfortable you get. The curve slope fader is cool too. I love scratching, so I always leave the fader on cut. And the effects top off my scratching into the perfect mix for hip hop. Someone in one of these reviews said it was not a scratch mixer. But i have been scratching crazy with this mixer for a month and so far....no problems. I still want to get the inno fader though :)

AMAZING!!! love the built in effects. The only thing negative is the headphone input is in a bad spot. You will have to get an "L" shaped female 1/4 inch to male 1/4 inch input adapter because the probability of breaking most headphone input jacks is high because they are straight and sticks out about 3 inches right at your waist line where there is frequent movement back and forth. It gets caught on your cloths and is distracting. Just wish i could find a protective case to put just the X9 in(not a full coffin)? Anyone know where I can find one?
