5Excellent mixer for beginners and not so beginners...  Feb 08, 2011 By Allan
This mixer is a great piece of equipment! Solid structure, exceptional sound output and it really let's you feel it's great quality with it's great sound output. It has four built in effects that are sober but really useful and professional when mixing. The 3 band equalizer allows you to decrease (even to kill) or increase individually the highs, mids and lows, allowing you to perform really seamless mashups and smooth transitions between beats. Also, the mixer has an Auxiliary/Mic input wich allows you to connect a microphone or component and treat the incoming sound with all the available effects. But, this mixer's killer feature is the recording feature which allows you to record any detail of your performance to a USB connected to the mixer into a high quality .wav format file, making it really easy to distribute your mixes and even to give yourself a little feedback of your performance by listening to your own mixes to discover your pros and cons.

Summarizing, this mixer is highly recommended for every DJ, no matter if you are a beginner or a pro, you will find in this mixer a powerful tool for improving your skills and your bussiness.

5i got it for one reason 1!!!!!!  Jul 29, 2011 By david
i had a list of mixers i wanted to get, but they all had one thing in common. you needed to use RCA cables to the laptop / computer + program(audacity) to record your live sets.

with djm350 it has a usb recorder, you put the usb stick in, and click record simple. it works perfect, this product will work for me because 1. i'm using it to beatmatch and the setup will be with two turntables/vinyls 2. i won't be using effects because i'm not a fan of effects or care for it. i mainly bought it because it was hard to find another mixer that has a usb recorder.

also you can hook the mixer to a laptop and etc but i dont care for digital but thought i'd mention it.

4Great Entry Level Club Mixer  Dec 27, 2011 By Michaelbak
I bought this as my first analogue mixer and it has preformed greatly. The effects are a tad bit lacking as there is no echo or proper gator. But the 4 effects that do come with it sound just as good as and pro units (as expected from Pioneer). The faders and Eq's all have a great feel and have withstood any abuse I have given with ease. The cross fader is lacking fro scratch work but we are reminded that this is a club mixer.

Oh and the built in recorder is no gimmick. It works wonderfully and I use it almost every time I do a set.

1Buyer beware  Jul 24, 2011 By Raymond G. Pasiliao
I am extremely disappointed with this product because it is a huge step back from the DJM-400 which had a decent effects section with delay, echo, flanger, and roll effects. If you do not need the direct-to-USB recording function of the DJM-350, you are surely better off buying the DJM-400 if you can find one.
