4Headphones with heart-pounding bass, but has limitation  Sep 11, 2011 By K. Yau
Build Quality:
Compared to Beats' offerings, these white headphones seem more like a xbox 360 game accessories, but they seem solid and will last a long time. The headband part seems tight on my head, but it is ok - it might loss up after a white. The mesh part looks cheap but the manufacturer claims it's for sweat-absorbing.

Sound quality:
These headphones have overpowering bass. I found them performed very well in reproducing electronic sounds, making techno music super heart pounding. In general, it tends make the bass standout, make songs sounded warm. In terms of soundstage, unless the song has only high-pitch interments and voice, different sounds sound pretty smashed together, but you can still distinguish different sounds without problem. I listened to a playful song with a pretty high voice and high melody, but having a bass underneath, the bass was brought out by the headphone and it became more like a dance music. Quite interesting. When I hear some dramatic/warm music with a high vocal, it sounds even more dramatic, and the vocal and the instrumental parts can be easily separated. However, some songs emphasizing both classical instruments and electronic sound, the soundstage becomes too crowded and sounds like if they were cheap headphones. However, the deal breaker for me is when I listened to live recording, live concert recording from a large arena sounds like the recording was from a boom mic, music got distorted and the vocal ran really thin. It became worse when I heard a recording from a TV station studio, the vocal voices had too much reverb on them and sounded like if I were listening to somebody singing in a karaoke room.

Overall, I can see someone would recommended this product to a DJ, the bass really stands out and can bring out the beat even though it might be hidden. It sounds pretty good for most studio recordings, espeically techno and pop/rock music, but I have decided to return these headphone because I just can't stand singing in a TV studio recording sound like karaoke. Don't get me wrong, they are decent headphones because you can heard different voices with clarity. Just the bass is too much for me.

5Best headphones ever. Hands down  Aug 13, 2011 By Eriberto
Awesome product!! Speakers are incredible and the blast is just so epic! Highly recommend if you like music with good bass and beats to it! It also makes friends jealous! Just one con is that it's pretty hard/not possible to remove the cord of the headphones and as well, the cord is really thick but, other than that, it's a one of a kind, non-expensive, and really great headphones that are a must!
