Stanton C324 Review Nov 13, 2010
By Seth Hart
"DJ Krystoph"
I'm DJ Krystoph and I want to review these Stanton C324 cd turntables. I had two purchased new and I used them for about 10 months. So, I am speaking from actual experience. As a DJ I always look for informative reviews on products any of us might buy.I bought these because like most of us I have a normal mans budget and Pioneers just weren't gonna happen. So the C324 seemed a great buy for the time. These players have major issues!!!!Run away from them! 1. They freeze up if they stay paused for more than 60secs...wtf!? I had to turn the unit off and then back on to reset them. 2. Totally inconsistent playback of any burned cds. I tried 6 different burning softwares and no difference. I never knew when they would read and not. 3.tendency to skip and jump on MP3 cds. Have no idea why. 4.Would simply stop playing an hour or two into a set and I would have to do the turn off then on thing again. Need I say more? In the spirit of fainess, they always read new store bought cds and the effects work great and all the time. But that hardly out ways the other issues. Thats my real life experience, I hope it helps.

Best CD players out there for price range Sep 29, 2009
By Dan Everybody doesn't have rich uncles or parents willing to throw out cash for you to start DJing on super high end gear. Or a lot of people are just plain smart with their money and aren't willing to fork out for a Pioneer CDJ1000 as their first deck. This Stanton c.324 is exactly for that reason. It is extremely good for the price range. I can't hear a difference in sound quality at all and any beginner DJ that says he does is full of cr*p. The features are tons of fun and the effects, which are probably not the greatest in terms of customizing ability, are awesome.
I gave these 5 stars because you have to take price in to consideration. Are they as good as the top of the line CDJs out there? No. Are they better dollar for dollar, hell yes!

These Decks are Crap / Buyer Beware Mar 30, 2011

I purchased two of the Stanton C.324 in June of 2009 for an event I was hosting. After that event I move the whole system I had (Stantons, Mixer, and the Odyssey case) to my storage where they have not been touched since.
I pulled the case out recently in preparation of another upcoming event and both of the Stanton's are giving me a NO DISK error. I did a little research and I'm not the only one this is happening to. Luckily I was not in the middle of a set, like some DJ's, when this problem occurred.
So mine were used ONCE, packed away, and now don't work. I'm out a grand and Stanton is doing NOTHING to assist me.
Do yourself a favor, get yourself a Dennon or a Pioneer before even looking any further into Stanton. Don't learn the hardway.

Good Product Sep 09, 2009

This is a good product for CD DJ's. But if you want to scratch, spend more money on a better deck, remember this is a midlevel cd player. It has a vynil emulation, like many decks(maybe I just need to practive more, still trying to play like I did on vynil). I use this when customer's bring their own cd's or when I forget to rip my new cd's into mp3s. The reason I don't give it a 5 is the fact that I had to return it twice to get it fixed. Stanton took good care of me when and got my deck within a month.
Stanton Why? Mar 20, 2012
By Todd R. Bean I have 4 of these things because:
1: They are totally affordable 2: They sound and work great! 3: .... then they break...
Seriously. I love these tables. I love them.
I like them better than my pioneer 1000k mk3 because they are just fun! The cue bank and loop function is totally dope. The sound effects are easy to use and manipulate. If you get the newer black ones (I have a 3.24, 2 of the 3.14, and a 3.03 I think) they look way stylish with the blue back light. The buttons are pleasing to touch and responsive. The jog wheel is hearty enough and fun to play with.
But, they WILL die on you.
God help you you aren't in the middle of set like I was. The discs (all of them) WILL error out and you will have to mess with it (restart it, hit the top of it, shake it, or maybe just be SOL) at some point. All of these have a life expectancy for proper functioning.
I grabbed backups because the first time I thought it was me not taking care of them properly or something (I was a little rough with them), after browsing forums though I found I was not alone. It is truly tragic as these are the best turntables for the price that I have used, maybe even best turntables period. You will love every minute of these until they let you down.
I would pay 200 dollars more for these, with a 5 star rating, and never look back if they would add the durability of other brands to these tables. As is tho.... If you can get them for cheap do it, otherwise.... either way enjoy them while you can.
