Comparable, But Not the Best Nov 26, 2009

I feel that the Stanton DigiPak ProV4 is good depending on the price you can catch them at on amazon, personally speaking I purchased my for $750 which is about 150-200 less that then often listed at. While I find that the C324(which is the turntables that make up DigiPak V4) is good but if you looking for a more of an authentic feeling platter for when you scratch it I would go with the cdj 800. But in terms of overall features the C324 packs a punch, such as touch rewind, Sampling features, and digital effects. The overall packaging is also very sturdy, the road case has come in handy for me on several occasions and there enough space to maneuver cables or even a serato box. The short coming is defiantly the mixer in the equation, while it would provide decent job at first, if you plan on doing anything complex in terms of mixing, or recording, you will probably have too upgrade, for several reasons, first the crossfade on the mixer isn't battle ready, nor is it fit for a turntablist, it just doesn't do cuts nor fades well, while the turntables due feature fader start on the turntables and mixer, it usually has delays nor does it come off well, the mixer also has no kill switches, no xlr inputs, nor special outputs. The mixer is just bear-bones. But other than that I would recommend this to any beginner or intermediary level dj's, epically because of the prices you could find this package at.
